PROJECT TITLE ITENDO Foundation — NGO & Non-Profit Web Platform
ITENDO is a grassroots Ugandan NGO dedicated to empowering girls, women, and families in vulnerable communities through practical, direct-action initiatives like menstrual packs and impact fashion. They needed a digital platform that stripped away bureaucratic jargon and instead focused on real stories, transparency, and tangible impact. We developed a clean, accessible, and emotionally engaging website designed to showcase their community-led pillars and provide a frictionless experience for potential donors and partners.
01The Challenge
The foundation required an online presence that immediately communicated trust and authenticity without overwhelming visitors with heavy text. The core challenge was to create an inviting, human-centric aesthetic that highlights their fieldwork in Uganda, while simultaneously driving users toward specific, actionable goals like "Fund a Pack," "Contribute Now," or purchasing "Impact Fashion."
02Our Approach
We crafted a modern, grounded design utilizing an earthy color palette of deep greens and terracotta to reflect their Ugandan roots. To balance organizational professionalism with a human touch, we paired clean sans-serif typography with approachable, handwritten script accents. The site architecture uses soft, rounded image containers and circular featurettes for their initiatives, creating a welcoming visual flow. We strategically placed clear impact metrics (e.g., "500+ Impacted," "Nationwide Presence") immediately above the fold to establish instant credibility, seamlessly guiding the user into clear, high-contrast donation pathways.
03The Outcome
The new ITENDO Foundation website effectively translates their on-the-ground efforts into a compelling digital narrative. The streamlined architecture not only amplifies their mission but also provides a robust, user-friendly platform that encourages visitor engagement and supports their ongoing fundraising efforts across Uganda.
